County awards $1 million-plus sewer contract

Allegany County commissioners selected a local contractor for a million dollar contract to rehabilitate the Braddock Run sewer system. Carl Belt Inc., was awarded the $1,197,713.75 contract as the low bidder for the project. The Maryland Department of the Environment must approve the award.
